Easter at the Farm
Easter at the Farm
Join us on the farm this year for an unforgettable "Easter on the Farm" experience. This is a unique opportunity to get up close and personal on a working farm.
> You will get the chance to get up close and personal with our pet lambs. Each child will have their own lamb to feed, cuddle and take photos with!
> Our resident sow 'Lyndsey Loham' is due to give birth on the 4th April. Will you be here when she gives birth? Will you get to see her tiny piglets?Β
>Β Marvel at the miracle of nature as fluffy chicks break free from their shells. The hatching process is a mesmerising spectacle that promises wonder and awe for everyone.
> Meet our pet calf and learn all about rearing and looking after cows!
> Enjoy an Easter craft to take home to remember your visit to Nether Haugh Farm throughout the year!Β
Please note:
> Pregnant women are not advised to come along to this event. Contact with lambs during pregnancy can put your unborn baby at risk. For more info please see:Β https://www.nhs.uk/pregnancy/keeping-well/infections-that-may-affect-your-baby/
> We are a working farm and so the area can be muddy, and animals can be messy - we recommend wearing old clothes and shoes. We will also still go ahead regardless of the weather so dress appropriately.
> Parking is in the yard on the main road. Traffic will be stopped when exiting the farm yard due to the nature of the road.
> Tickets are required for everyone coming onto farm. For children under 1 yr free of charge tickets can be issued.
> If we have to cancel the event, then we will issue a full refund. Any cancellations by you made 48hours before the event may not be subject to a full refund.
