A New Farm-to-Fork Butchery
Graysons Farmers & Butchers Ltd is a family-run business built on a simple idea: connecting customers directly with the people who produce their food. We're passionate about high-quality, locally sourced meat and food products, and we can't wait to bring that to the Wentworth community.
As we prepare to open our doors this October, we're building our small but growing team ā and we'd love for you to be part of it from the very beginning.
The Role: Retail Assistant
We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable person to join us as a Retail Assistant. More than experience, we're looking for the right personality ā someone who enjoys talking to customers, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a family business with strong community values.
What you'll be doing:
- Serving customers and providing excellent customer service
- Operating the till and handling transactions
- Preparing and packing customer orders
- Maintaining attractive product displays
- Assisting with stock control and replenishment
- Carrying out light butchery-related tasks
- Helping to keep the shop clean, organised and welcoming
About you:
- Friendly, approachable and confident speaking with customers
- Passionate about food, with an interest in helping customers
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a small team
- Happy to work weekends as part of a rota
- Previous butchery, food retail or farm shop experience would be an advantage, but it's not essential ā full training will be provided
What We Offer
- Pay of Ā£13.50 per hour
- 16ā30 hours per week, with weekend work as part of the rota
